The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyondinfrastructure with sustainability at its core. The mission of the Compliance & Operational Risk function ("COR") is to protect the Bank and to strengthen the Bank's accountability and transparency. Compliance and Operational Risk assists in the identification, assessment, management, and monitoring of compliance and operational risks arising from the Bank's activities or from the occurrence of external events. The purpose of the role is to support the Operational Risk team deliver its mandate within the Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Support Operational Risk framework enhancements activities through research and the benchmarking of peer practice.
- Support the development of a Scenario Analysis framework and supporting processes
- Support the delivery of Risk & Control Self-Assessments through the capture and recording of information into the Bank's system.
- Support the capture and recording of Operational Risk incidents in the Bank's system.
- Support Operational Risk reporting activities
- Provide administrative support to the Operational Risk team
Requirements:
- Master's degree in law, business administration, finance, international studies, from a reputable university.
- Ability to work well with a diverse team and internal and external stakeholders to achieve effective results and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, including the ability to prepare, present, and discuss recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Strong knowledge of Python or equivalent capabilities for development, data processing, automation and reporting.
- High level of organizational skills, critical thinking and customer service skills.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
