The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyondinfrastructure with sustainability at its core. We began operations in Beijing in 2016 and have since grown to 111 approved members worldwide. We are capitalized at USD100 billion and AAA-rated by the major international credit rating agencies. Collaborating with partners, AIIB meets clients' needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that is green, technology-enabled, and promotes regional connectivity.
The intern will contribute to the Major Change Initiative (MCI) focused on the AI project. The MCI AI project aims to drive innovation and operational efficiency through the strategic application of artificial intelligence technologies, as complementary programs alongside the current IT portfolio and operations, employing a programmatic strategy. The project emphasizes a business-oriented approach, driven by AI inspiration, which will pivot innovation through the AI Opportunity Map, supported by strategic elements such as AI and Innovation Inspiration, as well as initiatives in Incubation, Partnerships, Adoption, Knowledge Management, and AI and Innovation Technology Capability.
Responsibilities:
- AI Use Cases: Interns will assist in analyzing use cases discovered from AI projects and provide reports that highlight trends, patterns, and potential business impacts.
- AI Opportunity Map: Interns will assist in maintaining and updating the AI Opportunity Map, ensuring that it reflects the latest innovations and opportunities identified during the internship.
- Project Documentation: Interns will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation outlining the processes, methodologies, and findings and recommendation related to the MCI AI.
- Presentation of Findings: At the end of the internship, interns will present their findings and contributions to the team, showcasing the value added to the MCI AI project.
- Collaboration and Support: Interns will work closely with team members to support various tasks and initiatives, contributing to a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Masters/MBA or PhD program, preferably specialized in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to derive insights from data and contribute to project outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great team player.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
