The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyondinfrastructure with sustainability at its core. Collaborating with partners, AIIB meets clients' needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that is green, technology-enabled, and promotes regional connectivity.
The 11th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will take place in September 2026 in Qatar, a dynamic and priority market for AIIB. The 2026 AM will provide a vibrant platform for the Bank to showcase its progress and engage with diverse stakeholders in critical conversations to finance Infrastructure for Tomorrow. The event will convene Members, partners, business leaders, civil society organizations, and global experts from various fields for discussions, collaborations, and forward-looking dialogue. This year's Annual Meeting also marks the beginning of AIIB's second decade of activity, projecting the Bank into a new phase of growth beyond its initial startup years. It will serve as a key forum to discuss achievements in advancing sustainable economic development, creating wealth, and improving infrastructure connectivity across Asia and beyond. The Communications (COM) team and the Design team will play a crucial role in supporting these efforts and ensuring the success of the global and regional outreach, requiring additional support during this milestone event.
Responsibilities:
- Update and adapt graphic templates for the Annual Meeting and related Annual Meeting lead-up events
- Support the creation of visual content for Annual Meeting sessions and speakers
- Assist with livestreaming and content management on social media and internal HQ screens
- Collaborate with the digital team, editors, media office, internal communications, and other departments for campaign execution
- Provide general graphic and coordination support during peak periods
- Prepare and present to the COM team a recap presentation summarizing key contributions with data visualizations or infographics at the end of the internship
Requirements:
- Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
- Creative mindset with an interest in designing engaging visual content for diverse audiences
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in oral and written English
- Able to work effectively with a dynamic, multicultural team and related communications units

- Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Knowledge of Canva and Adobe software is an asset
