For every child, Education
The emergence of the pandemic COVID-19 and the security issues since December 2020 significantly weighed on the education system with most schools in the strongly conflict-affected remained closed because parents are reluctant to send their children to schools either because of the armed conflict or
the pandemic. Also, other schools remain closed because of lack of teachers or because of their occupation by armed groups including official army and their allies. Those 15 occupied Bouar schools are located as follows ? 5 in the West - Bouar and Berberati areas, 3 in the Centre ? Bambari, Grimari and 7 in the North and North-West. Schools failed to resume in an organized manner according to an adjusted academic calendar.
