The World Health Organization (WHO) is the specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) focused on international public health. The Budget Coordination and Grant Management Unit is part of the Department of Planning, Resource Coordination and Performance Monitoring in the WHO. The unit is responsible for the development and management of the budget, end-to-end grant management process, and effective resource allocation efforts. It works with various departments within WHO to ensure a strategic approach to resource allocation, ensure the optimal use of funds, and improve the organization's credibility, transparency, and efficiency in the grant management process.
Your role as Budget and Resource Officer:
As part of the Budget Coordination and Grant Management (BCG) team you will work in the following areas:
WHO Programme budget portal and transparency
Efficiency agenda
Programme Budget development and monitoring
Global Programme management network
Part of the Swiss JPO Programme, this position is sponsored by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC of the FDFA.
