The WBG's Country engagement is Country-led to provide technical assistance required for the economic transition of Tunisia. A Country specific Umbrella Program is under creation building on three existing Multi-Donors Trust Funds. More specifically, the Tunisia Economic Resilience and Inclusion (TERI) Umbrella Program 2.0 will support two Country Partnership Frameworks cycles through providing just in time technical support and capacity building to undertake social and economic structuring and priority reforms.
Your tasks and responsibilities as Trust Fund Analyst:
- Support the implementation of the TERI Umbrella Program 2.0. The implementation of the program includes technical discussion with Government, technical coordination with World Bank staff to design and launch activities, organization oftechnical committees to discuss proposals, etc.
- Provide technical support to review project proposals and advance suitable proposals to the Technical Committee and Steering Committee for deliberation and approval;
- Participate to and support preparation of related documentations (Presentation, Minutes, Briefs for the Chair, etc.) for Partners consultations. The Tunisia Economic Resilience and Inclusion Umbrella Program is supported by 6 main Development Partners (among them Switzerland: State Secretariat for Economic Affairs-SECO and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation-SDC).
- As part of the Project Management Team, assist overseeing the day-to-day activities of the TERI Umbrella Program 2.0 and implementation of the projects funded by the grants of this program, including procurement, staffing, monitoring and evaluation, etc.
- Help in drafting the progress report of the program, including technical progress of activities and financial statement.

For the programme:
- Swiss nationality
- Master's degree in a relevant field (by end of March 2021)
- Ideally 12 months of relevant professional experience (min. 3 months - max. 24 months)
- Max. 28 years old at the start of the assignment in July 2021
- Excellent command of English and 2 official Swiss languages (one active = C1/C2, one passive = A2/B1).
- Interest in joining the international cooperation sector
For this position:
- Master's Degree in Economics, public policy, finance, business administration, law, social science, engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience (ideally one year) in public policy and investment/development projects;
- Other finance, economics and administration related experience;
- Fluent in English and working knowledge of French.
