The WBG has provided significant support to Tunisia to face the economic challenges resulting from the political and security situation and to improve its economic governance, foster private sector led growth, reform the social protection systemand reduce regional inequalities. In preparation of the new cycle, the World Bank teams will perform a Completion and Learning Review (CLR) exercise, to draw out lessons learned from the implementation experience of the previous Country Partnership Framework (CPF) and intime to inform the design of the follow-on CPF.

 

Your tasks and responsibilities as Operations Analyst: 

  • Support to the Tunisia Completion and Learning Report (CLR) exercise. The completed report will inform the next Country Partnership Framework (CPF) and is reviewed at the decision meeting as a part of the engagement package; 
  • Support the team in monitoring the progress of CPF indicators towards completion in line with the CPF pillars and objectives. This includes data collection and update of the target objective indicators of the Performance Learning Report (PLR) Results Framework; 
  • Participate in and support the preparation and review of related documentations; 
  • As part of the team, participate in operations activities (e.g. investment project portfolio reviews, implementation support, projects supervision meetings), research as well as assessments; 
  • Support administrative tasks (including meeting minutes, briefs, presentations).

Part of the UN Youth Volunteers Programme, this position is sponsored by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). To ensure one can fully immerse in these assignments, all travel, relocation, life and health insurance costs are covered.

A Country specific Umbrella Program is under creation building on three existing Multi-Donors Trust Funds. More specifically, the Tunisia Economic Resilience and Inclusion (TERI) Umbrella Program 2.0 will support two Country Partnership Frameworks cycles through providing just in time technical support and capacity building to undertake social and economic structuring and priority reforms.   Your tasks and responsibilities as Trust Fund Analyst:  - Support the implementation of the TERI Umbrella Program 2.0.
