As a state-recognised personnel service provider, we supply qualified Christian-oriented experts from all EU countries for projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America or Central or Eastern Europe. Since being founded by Catholic associations and organisations in 1959, AGIAMONDO has supplied over 6,000 experts for development projects.
AGIAMONDO e.V. is the personnel service of the German Catholics for Development Cooperation. The Civil Peace Service (CPS) offers development workers a meaningful role working with local development agents. The CPS is a personnel programme for peace-building and the prevention of violence in crisis and conflict regions. It sets out to promote a world in which conflicts are settled without violence. Working with church-related and civil-social partner organisations in Uganda, AGIAMONDO aims to make a contribution towards civil conflict management and the sustainable and equitable development of the country through peace-building measures.TERELEPAR was founded in 2001 by religious leaders of various faith communities in the then Teso region to contribute to peacekeeping in the region and promote peaceful coexistence. TERELEPAR educates people about their rights in the area of land use and ownership and tries to contribute to non-violent mediation in acute cases of land expropriation and conflict. The partner organization aims to strengthen capacities for nonviolent management of land conflicts and to build appropriate spaces for dialogue that facilitate a shift in thinking toward nonviolence and create pathways for reconciliation. Through the organization's network, there are many opportunities for exchange and cooperation with other peace actors.To support our local partner organisation in Uganda we are looking for a Trainer for mediation methods in land conflicts (m/f/x) to start as soon as possible. Fokupers is one of the longest established civil society organisations in Timor-Leste. It was founded in 1997 to address gender-based violence and human rights violations against women and children, particularly those committed during the Indonesian occupation of Timor-Leste. Today, this non-profit organisation has been operating for almost 26 years and has expanded its services to include victim support, non-gender specific early childhood education, advocacy and the empowerment of women - both in the community and in Timor-Leste as a nation. This work is supported by the involvement of 35 community-based women's groups in ten communities. It includes the running of shelters, crèches, legal support, training and development, economic empowerment and community sensitisation.
