Dienste in Übersee gGmbH (DÜ) is looking for Professionals for partner organizations of Brot für die Welt for over 60 years. DÜ selects these development-politically committed Professionals according to a standardized procedure, trains them in an intensive, multi-week preparation period and supports them throughout their 3-year stay abroad.

Brot für die Welt is a globally active German NGO, based on the development organization of the Protestant churches in Germany. Brot für die Welt is active in more than 90 countries around the globe and empowers economically disadvantaged and marginalized groups to improve their living conditions through their own efforts. It thereby works closely with local partner organizations.

DÜ is one of seven organizations in Germany recognized by the Development Aid Workers Act (EhfG). With a contract in accordance with the EhfG, Professionals abroad receive social security cover in line with German standards. In addition, DÜ provides relevant knowledge and practical skills for intercultural work with the people in preparation and support.
