Academic InternshipThe Embassy of Switzerland in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) is looking for an academic intern for the period from 1 January 2027 onwards, for a duration of 6 months (or longer). This internship will enable you to familiarize yourself with the activities of a Swiss representation abroad and the various aspects of diplomacy.Your tasks:Assist the embassy across its political, economic, and cultural activities, in particular by researching information, preparing dossiers, drafting reports, and assisting with visiting delegations.Monitor and analyze the press and social media.Participate in the organization of events.Your qualifications:Swiss citizenship.Excellent oral and written command of two Swiss official languages and English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.Degree from a university or university of applied sciences (Bachelor's or Master's degree).Commitment, flexibility, and strong initiative.Demonstrated interest in the region.Good understanding of and interest in social media platforms.Very good academic track record.Application dossier:Curriculum vitaeCover letterCopies of higher education degrees and/or official academic transcriptsApplications must be submitted by email to: yannick.reichenau@eda.admin.ch.
