Position ObjectiveThe Evaluation and Capacity Development Manager will lead the workstream of Evaluation and Capacity Development within the GCF Secretariat's Department of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (DMEL), comprising of evaluation specialists, monitoring specialists and capacity development specialists. The workstream enhances the ability of the Fund to undertake rigorous, systematic, and credible self-evaluations geared towards improving the overall performance of GCF portfolio in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and impact. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for leading the internal and external capacity development initiatives on issues pertaining to Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning of GCF funded activities on mitigation, adaptation and privates sector facility, the readiness programme and the project preparation facility.
