The team is responsible for coordinating the implementation and application of the Access to Information Policy (ATI Policy) of the Bank's Access to Information Policy (ATI Policy), and supporting the vice presidencies, departments, and units in the classification of information.As a Corporate Services Senior Associate on the SEC/ATI team, you will provide legal technical assistance on Access to Information matters. In this role, you will analyze and support the classification across vice presidencies, departments, and units, and contribute to the development of internal platforms and systems for implementing the ATI Policy, supporting the governance of the access to information framework, including engagement with the Board of Executive Directors and the Access to Information Committee (AIC). What you'll doProvide legal technical assistance and analysis related to Access to Information issues concerning corporate and operational activities, agreements, or contracts carried out by the IDB. This includes requests submitted to the Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) to investigate allegations related to the ATI Policy and other IDB's policies.Support vice presidencies, departments, and units in the classification of information, and contribute to the development of internal platforms and systems to implement the ATI Policy framework and related Bank's policies and regulations.Draft guidelines and procedures for the application of the ATI Policy standards, for use by Bank staff.Support SEC/ATI in its role assisting SEC in its capacity as Technical Secretariat of the AIC and the External Review Panel.Conduct research and perform analysis related to ATI Policy issues, and present proposals to address new ATI Policy implementation matters, with a view to strengthening coordination with the Bank's various units and departments, including the Board of Executive Directors and external offices.Coordinate activities with the Bank's internal and external stakeholders, including executing agencies, beneficiary entities, civil society organizations, and other regional, multilateral, and international financial institutions to strengthen task coordination for SEC/ATI's implementation of the new ATI Policy.Deliver staff training and development initiatives to promote a clear understanding and effective application of the new ATI Policy among Bank personnel. This includes contributing to the design and preparation of  training content and materials for programs led by SEC/ATI.Coordinate the preparation and drafting of ATI Policy reports and presentations for the Board of Executive Directors and AIC.Compile and systematize international jurisprudence on Access to Information, as well as global best practices on the subject, to serve as input for the implementation of the IDB's new ATI Policy.Participate in the development and implementation of indicators to measure the effectiveness of the new ATI Policy implementation and the impact of information disclosure across the Bank. What you'll need•    Education: Master's degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in law or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.•    Experience: At least 4 years of progressive experience in multilateral development organizations or public sector institutions in one of our 48-member countries will be valued. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of access to information and transparency policies or frameworks.•    Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required.
