Caritas Switzerland supports children and adults in precarious situations in around 20 countries worldwide in the areas of income, climate and migration. In the event of disasters, Caritas provides emergency relief and supports reconstruction. In cooperation with local partner organisations, we are actively engaged in meeting basic needs, empowering people, ensuring that their rights are respected and fighting inequality.  Caritas Switzerland also works on behalf of asylum seekers, refugees and disadvantaged migrants. We also offer support in the last phase of life, family placements for young people in difficult situations and help in disasters.

More than 900 employees work across the world to achieve the goals of Caritas Switzerland. A just world whose strength is measured by the wellbeing of the weak and in which all people have access to food, water, health, education and work.
