Responsibility covers identification actions required to build the enabling environment for the downstream delivery of net zero transport solutions in our DMCs. The stakeholders include those involved in policy and legislation development, covering all modes of transport and related areas.The incumbent will identify potential transport sector decarbonization facilitation policies, programs and projects for ADB financing, define the assistance scopes, prepare concept designs, and process and administer transport projects. The project designs are expected to utilize the international best applicable for transport sector decarbonizing, including technologies to facilitate efficient and environmentally friendly movement of goods and people. The incumbent will identify potential sources and secure TA funding, select and supervise the TA consultants. The outcome of the job is to develop a clear strategy and action plan for ADB with regards to its long-term engagement with DMCs in the decarbonization of the transport sector.The incumbent will collaborate closely with other sector groups and departments as ONE ADB team under the ADB's new operating model and externally with clients, international organizations, donor organization and supervise critical tasks, as may be assigned.
