MSF ou Médecins Sans Frontières est une organisation humanitaire internationale qui apporte une aide médicale d'urgence à des populations confrontées à des crises menaçant leur survie, et ce, depuis bientôt cinquante ans. D'ailleurs Médecins Sans Frontières a reçu le prix Nobel de la Paix en 1999. Zones de conflits armés, épidémies, pandémies, catastrophes naturelles ou accès limité aux soins de santé, voici nos terrains d'intervention. Toutes ces situations nécessitent des ressources médicales et logistiques adaptées dont les autorités sanitaires et les ministères de la Santé ne disposent pas, ou pas en nombre suffisant, c'est pourquoi une assistance médicale internationale est essentielle aux populations.

 

Si vous avez entendu parler des actions humanitaires MSF, c'est parce que MSF prend la parole publiquement pour tenter de faire sortir une crise de l'oubli, alerter l'opinion sur des exactions commises loin des caméras, critiquer les insuffisances du système de l'aide, ou lorsque l'assistance est détournée de son objectif premier pour servir des intérêts politiques. 

 

Réunies autour d'une même charte, les équipes de MSF sont composées de personnel médical, logistique et administratif venant de tous les continents. Context & MissionMédecins Sans Frontières is an independent, international medical and humanitarian organization that provides care to people in need, people affected by natural or man-made disasters, and victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and without regard to race, religion, creed or political affiliation (MSF Charter).The MSF movement is structured around 6 operational centers supported by 24 partner sections and offices worldwide. The MSF operational center in Geneva is one of these centers. Together with regional entities (hubs) and branch offices, it coordinates medico-humanitarian operations in more than 25 countries worldwide in 60 medical projects with more than 8000 employees (segmented into 550 international positions, 5500 national positions & 2000 staff under refugee or under incentive status).MSF aims to guarantee a working environment free of abuses and inappropriate behaviours for both employees and the populations we serve.  In OCG, situations of abuses or inappropriate behaviours are encouraged to be reported through the integrity line platform (https://msfocg.integrityline.com). MSF does not tolerate that its employees engage in any form of fraud and corruption or other forms of misconduct, in relation to MSF activities. Lorsque l'alerte est identifiée, une analyse suivie d'une enquête/explo est déclenchée. Context & MissionAs part of the communications and fundraising department based in Geneva/Dakar, the Strategic Communication Advisor (SCA) position is one of the five public positioning referent to provide strategic advice, coordination and execution from a public positioning perspective including visibility and local communications. The strategic communications Advisor is the referent and the first responder for a portfolio of countries and/or topics for all public positioning and communications matter (internal/external).He/She initiates, develops and drives validation on PR strategies for OCG countries and topics, developing compelling messaging for public audiences as well as media plan and partnerships in line with Telling It as It is vision.Under the leadership of the relevant Operational Program Managers and in collaboration with the relevant Advocacy Advisor, he/she has a senior role to play in providing his/her analysis, contributing inputs about positioning, advices on tactics as well as identifying messages and powerful tools for a portfolio of countries and themes. Context & MissionThe Operational Logistics Referent (RLO) serves as a logistics expert assigned to operations, providing assistance to an operational cell across all mission support activities.  The Legacies Coordinator is attached to the General Public Fundraising Unit, one of the four units of the Fundraising Division within the Communication and Fundraising Department of MSF Switzerland. Field-based position with visits to HQ ContextThe Middle East Support Office (MESO) is the HQ office of OCG in Amman, Jordan.
