Toutes ces situations nécessitent des ressources médicales et logistiques adaptées dont les autorités sanitaires et les ministères de la Santé ne disposent pas, ou pas en nombre suffisant, c'est pourquoi une assistance médicale internationale est essentielle aux populations.

The Supply Chain intern work in close relation with the Supply chain referent Back Office and the Supply Chain program manager on below tasks.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Maintain along with the Supply Referent Back office the existing reporting tools
- Participate in development, test, pilot and deployment of the Supply automated reports (Business intelligence system)
- Support the program manager in the improvement of the data management in line with the OCG supply strategy
- Help with the documentation of different data management Project
- Contribute actively to the improvement of the data quality
Your profile
- Have a tripartite internship agreement
- French and English with fluency in at least one of the two and C1 level in the other
- Currently enrolled in an university programme: Degree and specialisation in Supply chain management or Business Analytics (Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Information management)
- Attention to detail and structured and independent working method
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit
- Flexibility and open-mindedness
- Experience in data modelling and reporting as well as strong affinity with IT is a plus
- Knowledge of BI tool (Power BI preferably)

The MSF movement is built around 5 operational centers supported by 24 sections and offices worldwide. MSF Operational Center Geneva (MSF OCG) is one of these centers.
The RLO is a logistics referent detached to operations to assist an operational cell in all its missions support activities. He/she primarily has a technical reference role, but his experience and understanding of operations makes him or her an important member of the cell involved in the management of operations, especially in the monitoring of mission security management and applied security aspects.
The RLO Polyvalent is part of the Log Ops Team, and he/she is a support of the current RLO team.
The RLO is hierarchically under head of operational logistics unit (RSLO) and under the management of Cell Program Manager (RP) when he (she) is working for a cell. He /she is not dedicated to a single cell but will come to provide a support according to peak activities, surge of needs or replacement of the regular cell RLO.
The RLO Polyvalent within the Log Ops team has 3 main scopes of responsibilities:
- As a polyvalent RLO, he (she) provides support to the emergency cell RLO during intensive activity phases (surge) or when replacement is needed (field mission, rest period, training, etc.)
- He (she) is providing support to a regular cell according to peaks of activity which require reinforced support from operational logistics.
- Within the RLO Team, he (she) brings his (her) skills and expertise during the development of activities capitalization work, practical tools, specific training content, protocols and procedures drafting, etc. ... he (she) will then have a so-called Back Office activity.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- As a member of the LogOPS unit, he/she provides support to an operational Cell and therefore participates in the objectives and operational strategy by guaranteeing technical and logistical feasibility.
- He/she works in collaboration with the supply referent in Cell to anticipate and resolve issues related to the mission supply chains.
- He/she supervises technical and logistical activities and is responsible for the application of logistics fundamentals and logistics field tools.
- He/she anticipates the logistical and technical problems that missions may face and undertakes to resolve them.
- He/she promotes and facilitates the implementation of technical activities aimed at improving the impact of medical programs (Wash, Food and non-food distribution, hospital management, construction, etc.)
- He/she validates the technical aspects of the risk reduction policy. He/she is the guarantor of the availability, implementation, and management of all the necessary means, technics and logistics and associated human resources.
- He/she ensures the application of non-medical technical policies and quality standards, availability and reliability of items and systems.
- In support of the RP and ARP, He/she contributes to the analysis, monitoring and implementation of security and risk reduction measures.
- He/she ensures that the applied safety and security measures are implemented and respected.
- In collaboration with the ARP and RP, he/she organizes the monitoring and updates of mission security protocols, procedures, and manuals, and contributes to their development.
- He/she participates to the definition of EPREP logistics strategies in line with operational objectives.
- He/she is actively involved in the development of budgets and action plans.
Specific Responsibilities:
- He /she will be requested in case of:
- Emergencies managed by the cell
- Exploratory mission requiring special follow-up.
- Vertical activities generating a significant workload (vaccination campaign, food distribution, wash activity, shelters, etc.)
- Formalization and review of emergency preparedness plans (EPREP). This support is part of a collaboration between the RP/RMP and the Emergency unit.
- He /she guarantees a continuity of support to all cells. He/she the first-line backup of the RLO, of which it can take over – by delegation – all the responsibilities during absence, or only part of it.
- He /she is focal point concerning logistics practices within the emergency cell; contribute to closure intervention capitalization, E-cell logistics focal point for systems and tools, process and guidelines development, etc.
- He /she works on specific back-Office files, and he/she is the focal point for review of general logistics training content.
- The RLO may be required to go on mission, at the request of a cell, with precise terms of reference. These missions may be of the following types:
- Field visit
- Exploratory mission
- Opening of projects
- Logistical reinforcements during an emergency period
- Logistics evaluation
- Gap filling
- The RLO intervenes on logistical (or transversal) training; as facilitators or as direct responders (cf. Ebola training, emergency training, LoT, WTT, etc.)
Your profile
Education
- High school studies at minimum. A technical diploma is an advantage.
- Experience in technical project management and team management
Experience
- Successful Logistics Coordinator missions (LogCo), including several emergency missions.
- Minimum 3 years of mission with MSF in logistics positions of management / coordination.
- Experience as head of mission or field coordinator is highly recommended.
- At least one successful year within the emergency pool.
- Excellent knowledge of the response mechanisms to epidemics; displacement of populations and surgical and traumatic activities.
- Mastery of MSF OCG tools.
- Good knowledge of MSF Logistics Supply Centers.
- Mastery of logistics fundamentals.
Languages
- Proficient English speaking and be able to communicate in French, both oral and writing.
Skills/ Technical competencies
- Good analysis capacity of emergency situations and force of proposal of logistics strategies.
- A good understanding of the political mechanisms of conflict and emergency situations.
- Very good communication skills.
- The ability to plan and implement appropriate and comprehensive logistics support.
- Experience required in team coaching.
- Experience in managing difficult security situations.

MSF is a worldwide movement of 25 sections, 17 branch offices and 7 directorates which directly manage field operations. MSF is almost entirely funded by private donors; In 2024, more than 7.1 million individual donors and private institutions (private companies and foundations) provided 95% of the €2.36 billion raised.
Today, OCG runs medical humanitarian programs in 32 countries through more than 60 field projects. The General Director of MSF Switzerland / Operational Centre Geneva (OCG) is the organization's highest executive authority and is responsible for implementing its medical-humanitarian social mission in line with MSF's Charter, values and humanitarian principles, and with the orientations set by the General Assembly, Board of Directors and OCG Congress.
Reporting to the President of MSF Switzerland, who acts on behalf of the Board of Directors within the associative governance framework, the General Director provides overall executive leadership and is accountable for the organization's strategic ambitions, operations, people, resources and risk management. The role includes leading the implementation of OCG's multi-year strategic ambitions (SA 2026-31), ensuring alignment with MSF's movement-wide strategic and resource frameworks (SPARC), and balancing competing priorities in support of medical operational needs, resilience and the social mission.
The General Director appoints the departmental directors and leads the Management Team, fosters a culture of integrity, accountability, inclusion and performance, and ensures effective collaboration between headquarters, regional hubs and field operations. Within MSF's associative governance model, the General Director works closely with the Board of Directors, OCG Congress and President, ensuring coherence between associative governance and executive action while maintaining a clear separation between governance responsibilities and executive decision making. As a senior leader within the MSF Movement, the General Director contributes actively to global strategy and policy via participation ot the Core ExCom and other forums. He or she works closely with other Operational Centres and partner sections to strengthen coherence, complementarities and innovation across the movement.
The General Director represents MSF Switzerland / OCG externally with donors, Swiss authorities, international institutions, humanitarian partners and, when relevant, the media. The role carries a high level of visibility and responsibility, requiring strong ethical leadership, integrity of behavior and a sustained commitment to inclusion, duty of care and safeguarding.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Provide overall strategic leadership to ensure the effective delivery of MSF Switzerland / OCG's social mission, in line with MSF's Charter, values and humanitarian principles.
- Ensure that medical-humanitarian priorities remain at the centre of all organisational decision
- Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of the multi-year strategic ambitions, in close collaboration with the President, Board of Directors, the OCG Congress and the Management Team.
- Maintain a permanent strategic reflection on the stakes, constraints and dilemmas of medical-humanitarian action in a rapidly evolving global environment.
- Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, ethical behaviour, innovation and learning, consistent with MSF Behavioral commitments and management values.
Executive management
- Ensure the overall management of the organisation, including operations, people and resources, to guarantee effectiveness, efficiency and coherence.
- Appoint, lead, coordinate and evaluate members of the Management Team, ensuring strong cohesion and collective responsibility.
- Provide strategic oversight to, and construcitve support and challenge the Director of Operations and Medical Director, contributing to the analysis of the operational portfolio and the definition of overarching operational and medical policies.
- Ensure effective coordination between headquarters, hubs and field operations, and the availability of relevant, high-quality information to support decision-making.
- Lead organisational risk analysis and ensure the definition and implementation of mitigation measures, particularly in relation to staff security, safety and critical incident management, in close coordination with operational and support leadership.
Governance, accountability and risk management
- Work in close collaboration with the Board of Directors, OCG Congress and President, providing timely, accurate and transparent informaiton to support governanance oversight, while retaining executive accountability.
- Ensure regular reporting on strategy implementation, organisational performance, risks and challenges.
- Ensure organisational oversight of risk analysis and mitigation, including safety and security risk management, critical incident governance and duty of care, with appropriate reporting to governance bodies.
- Ensure organisational compliance with legal, regulatory, statutory and MSF internal frameworks.
Financial Stewardship
- Ensure sound financial management, including budgeting, reporting, auditing and internal controls, in line with legal requirements and MSF rules.
- Integrate financial considerations and impact assessments into strategic and operational decision-making at all levels.
- Enable access to diverse and ethical funding sources, ensuring that private and institutional funds are used responsibly and in support of MSF's independence and social mission.
Movement Leadership, partnership and external representation
- Actively participate in the MSF Movement's Executive Committee (Core-ExCom) and other international executive fora, contributing to collective decision-making and implementation.
- Collaborate with General Directors of other Operational Centres, the International Secretary and partner sections to strengthen coherence, synergies and complementarities across the Movement.
- Represent OCG internationally and contribute to debates on humanitarian positioning and operational challenges, while safeguarding OCG's interests and promoting movement-wide strategic priorities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner sections, ensuring OCG's full integration within the MSF Movement.
- Represent MSF Switzerland / OCG externally with donors, Swiss authorities, international institutions, humanitarian actors and, when relevant, the media, in line with associative positions and MSF principles.
People, culture, duty of care and inclusion

Your profile
Education
- Advanced university degree in medicine, public health, humanitarian affairs, political sciences, management or a related field, or equivalent senior-level professional experience.
- A medical or health-related background, or a demonstrated and sustained engagement with medical-humanitarian action, is a strong asset.
- Strong alignment with MSF's social mission, charter and humanitarian principles, including a patient-centred approach.
Experience
- Extensive senior leadership experience in a complex and large international non for profit organisation, in the humanitarian or medical-humanitarian sector. Solid understanding of the mechanimsm and processes relevant to organizations, such as human resources, operations, finance etc.
- MSF experience is a major asset.
- Experience in executive or senior management roles, including General/Executive Director or Director of a major organizational function.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with and overseeing medical-humanitarian operations with the ability to operate in highly insecure working environment.
- Exposure to ethical, access and security dilemmas.
- Experience working within associative or multi-layered governance structures.
- Demonstrated experience leading organisational change, transformation or strategic reform.
- Strong background engaging with external stakeholders (donors, governments, UN agencies, partners) in politically sensitive environments.
Languages
- Fluency in English and French. Swiss German (or German) and or Italian an asset. Additional languages are an advantage.

Context & mission
Médecins Sans Frontières is an independent, international medical and humanitarian organization that provides care to people in need, people affected by natural or man-made disasters, and victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and without regard to race, religion, creed or political affiliation (MSF Charter).
The L&D Unit Intern provides organizational, administrative and communication support to the unit. The Intern will learn and support the team in the organisation and the deployment of learning activities. In addition to the recurrent tasks, the Intern will lead specific dossiers or projects. The Intern function can be part of an academic course or a federal program on professional integration. For this reason, most placements as Intern require a 3-party convention with the academic institute concerned.
Tasks and responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Intern are split as follow: 60% of time dedicated to Organisational & administrative support, 30% of time dedicated to ad hoc support. Under the supervision of the Head of L&D and the L&D support coordinator the Intern supports the unit as follows:
- Organisational & administrative support (60%)
The intern will learn office processes through supporting the current administration team in the following tasks. The person will have the opportunity to contribute to improvements in administrative ways of working in a dynamic, internationally dispersed unit comprising of around 40 people.
Trainings and learning events support:
- Learn and support teams in the organisation and deployment of learning actions such as virtual classes support or face to face (catering, room booking, pedagogical material printing and laminating, communication with participants and facilitators)
- Provides support to the trainers for material ordering (specific, pedagogical or generic such as stationary)
- Ensures the updating of the international mobile staff learner in the HR Database (D635)
HR/Administrative follow-up:
- Provide support in the organization of recruitment & Administrative HR follow-up
- Provides support to the team to edit and follow up of contracts (team and providers), forms (IT, recruitment forms, etc.) and partnership agreements
- Ensures the updating of the L&D staff tracking table (HR Update)
- Organizes briefings and onboarding for new L&D members
- Follows up on other specific HR procedures as needed
Support of the Unit
- Supports the unit in the organization of meetings (i.e. the different weekly meeting or specific pillar meeting) including the preparation of agendas, taking minutes, the archiving of meeting documentation and follow up.
- Supports the unit in the management of information for the online knowledge management platforms such as Kompas and Share Point and manages the key tools for the organization of the unit
- Supports the preparation of documents and Presentations for either internal or external use (Edit and update specific communication tools such as the L&D Offer, L&D activity report)
- Update and maintain tags and search bar to improve learners' access to the different training offerings.
2. Ad hoc support (30%)
- Upon request validated by manager, needs and interest the intern will be delegated specific tasks or dossier that he or she will manage.
Your profile
- Have a tripartite internship agreement
- Fluent English and French (written and spoken).
- Enrolled in an Administration degree, Humanitarian or Development Studies, social studies, Organisation's Management, Adult Learning / Adult Education other relevant degree
- No specific requirements in terms of work experience but having has some form of employment in the past is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to humanitarian / development / charity work or volunteering" is an advantage
- Capacity of analysis and synthesis.

Le Facility Officer assure le bon fonctionnement quotidien du siège en garantissant la gestion du courrier, ainsi que le suivi des services généraux (catering, buanderie, approvisionnement, déchets). Il participe à la maintenance et à l'organisation des espaces de travail. Il agit en support des équipes internes, afin de maintenir un environnement de travail efficace, fonctionnel et agréable. Son action de support technique s'exerce en étroite collaboration avec le coordinateur du service Facilities.
Principales responsabilités
Gestion du courrier
- Assurer la collecte quotidienne du courrier à la réception
- Apposer la date de réception sur les courriers entrants
- Trier et distribuer le courrier dans les casiers des différents départements
- Classer le courrier au retour
- Assurer l'affranchissement du courrier sortant
- Effectuer les règlements liés aux envois postaux
- Acheminer au bureau de poste le courrier sortant
Gestion technique de l'immeuble
- Assurer le suivi des stocks et l'approvisionnement en papier des imprimantes et photocopieurs
- Gérer les consommables (toners) et effectuer leur remplacement
- Organiser et assurer le recyclage du papier
- Traiter les demandes Facilities via l'outil de gestion dédié
- Assurer le suivi et la commande des cartes de visite
- Réaliser des achats de matériel technique et de mobilier
- Réceptionner, assembler et installer le mobilier commandé
- Participer à l'évacuation du mobilier obsolète
- Contribuer aux petits travaux de maintenance et réparations diverses
- Veiller, en collaboration avec le coordinateur Facilities, au maintien du dégagement des voies d'évacuation
- Participer à l'aménagement des salles de conférence
- Assurer l'évacuation des déchets non pris en charge par l'équipe de nettoyage (cartons, papier)
- Assurer le suivi de la collecte des déchets (éco-point des Morillons)
- Fait partie de l'équipe de première intervention pour le suivi des alarmes
Suivi des salles de réunion, coins café et cuisine
- Assurer la mise en place du mobilier et l'approvisionnement en eau et fruits dans les salles de réunion
- Veiller au bon fonctionnement des coins café et de la cuisine
- Gérer la répartition de la vaisselle entre les différents espaces
- Assurer le nettoyage ponctuel en cas de besoin ou d'urgence
- Effectuer le suivi et l'entretien des réfrigérateurs
- Assurer le suivi de la buanderie et le lavage hebdomadaire des torchons
Catering
- Réceptionner et vérifier la cohérence des demandes de catering
- Assurer le suivi du calendrier des événements
- Passer les commandes auprès du prestataire (Tukul)
- Veiller à la bonne mise en place des prestations
- Assurer l'interface entre les clients internes et le prestataire
Courses et démarches externes
- Effectuer diverses courses et démarches administratives (administration cantonale, notaire, ambassade, etc.)
Profil recherché
Education
- Formation dans le domaine de la logistique ou des Facilities ou de l'hôtellerie.
Expérience
- Expérience professionnelle solide dans le domaine de compétence
Compétences Techniques
- Maîtrise des outils informatiques usuels (Word, Excel, PPT, système tickets...)
- Capacité organisationnelle et habilité à prioriser
- Permis de conduire et de scooter.
Langues
- Français : courant (obligatoire)
- Anglais : bonne maîtrise
- Allemand : apprécié

Médecins Sans Frontières est une organisation médicale humanitaire créée en 1971 par des médecins et des journalistes. La section suisse a été fondée en 1981 à Genève. MSF apporte une assistance médicale à des populations dont la vie est menacée en cas de conflits armés, d'épidémies, de catastrophes naturelles ou encore d'exclusion des soins. MSF est financée à plus de 95% par la générosité de ses donateurs privés.
L'unité Philanthropie est une des 6 cellules métier du Département de la Communication et de la Recherche de Fonds. Composée de 17 personnes, elle a levé plus de CHF 70 millions l'an dernier auprès d'individus, de fondations, d'entreprises et de Cantons/Communes.
Le-la Stagiaire en Fundraising travaillera en étroite collaboration avec tous les membres de l'unité Philanthropie, avec les membres du département Communication et Recherche de Fonds ainsi que ceux des autres départements de MSF. Le stagiaire développera des compétences en communication, en gestion de bases de données, et en relations avec les donateurs, tout en contribuant à la mission humanitaire de MSF.
Le-la stagiaire apportera un soutien administratif ainsi qu'aux activités de recherche de fonds au sein de l'unité Philanthropie.
Principales responsabilités
Soutien aux activités de Recherche de Fonds
- Mise à jour de la base de données selon nouvelles informations (adresses, tél, email, etc.)
- Rédaction et traitement des lettres de remerciements
- Aide au suivi des portfolios de contacts (cantons/communes, entreprises, fondations, etc.)
- Soutien ponctuel à l'organisation d'évènements
- Contacts téléphoniques avec certains donateurs pour projets ad hoc
- Soutien aux activités de fidélisation et de réactivation des différentes cibles
- Participation à la prospection d'informations spécifiques sur les grands donateurs (entreprises, fondations, individus, et cantons/communes)
- Support à la traduction et aux relectures Français/Anglais (autres langues désirables)
- Aide à la rédaction et relecture de dossiers, appels de fonds (propositions), rapports et présentations PowerPoint pour les grands donateurs
Soutien administratif
- Soutien au suivi des dons
- Participation et rendu du PV des réunions de la cellule
- Préparation de micro-mailings (mise en forme, publipostage, envoi)
- Aide au recrutement du stagiaire suivant
- Comme conclusion du stage, il sera demandé au stagiaire de développer et de présenter un document sur un axe de développement de la philanthropie, d'intérêt pour le stagiaire dans le cadre de son cursus académique et au bénéfice de l'unité philanthropie, convenu au préalable.
Profil recherché
- En cours d'études supérieures ou finissant un cycle d'études supérieures
- Être éligible pour une convention de stage avec un tiers
- Expérience dans les milieux associatifs et/ou humanitaire est un atout
- Expérience précédente (stage ou autre) bienvenue
- Excellentes capacités rédactionnelles et de synthèse
- Curiosité professionnelle et volonté d'apprentissage
- Flexibilité et esprit d'équipe
- Intérêt marqué pour l'humanitaire
- Excellente maitrise du Français
- Excellente maitrise de l'Anglais
