Toutes ces situations nécessitent des ressources médicales et logistiques adaptées dont les autorités sanitaires et les ministères de la Santé ne disposent pas, ou pas en nombre suffisant, c'est pourquoi une assistance médicale internationale est essentielle aux populations.

Context:
The Single Data Entry (SDE) project is a transformational initiative led by MSF to significantly improve the quality and efficiency of supply chain data entry in stock management processes (cargo reception, order preparation, stock count) across multiple operational centres (OC). The solution being developed revolves around a mobile application leveraging QR codes and AI-powered OCR technologies to automate data capture and integrate with MSF's existing supply chain systems. The project team is looking for an application manager to bring technical expertise and a capacity to coordinate with IT organizations across OCs to execute its test & deployment strategy and define the support model.
Mission:
The IT Project Manager is pivotal in developing and implementing the SDE solution to meet high standards and integrate smoothly with existing systems and stock management tools. Responsible for the successful delivery of IT solutions supporting the SDE program, this role ensures both business,
functional and technical requirements are efficiently met. The IT Project Manager will work closely with diverse stakeholders to develop and implement tailored solutions, ensuring these are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives. In this role, you will provide technical leadership within the SDE core team, manage the product development, and collaborate with technical experts from the four cosponsoring Operational Centers (OCs) of the SDE program.

Scope of responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT working groups from co-sponsoring OCs to ensure building a viable, maintainable and deployable solution
- Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of the product development project
- Collaborate and build relationship with suppliers to enable project success
- Monitor project progress and performance, identify variances, and drive corrective actions to keep delivery on track.
- Identify, assess and manage risks, issues, blockers and dependencies, including escalation where needed.
- Ensure readiness and support go-live of the solution in MSF missions
- Coordinate testing, defect resolution, environment readiness, release planning and go-live activities, in collaboration with the Deployment Manager.
- Promote adherence to quality standards, security requirements, compliance needs, and operational readiness expectations.
- Lead workshop and activities to define the operating model and ensure successful transition to business-as-usual after implementation

Education
- Master's degree in computer sciences, information systems, engineering, or a related field)
Experience
- At least 5 years of successful IT project management, with experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining mobile applications
- Broad technical proficiency across various roles, including developer, business analyst, technical lead, and project manager
- Familiarity with working in an international setting, with prior humanitarian experience a plus.
- Previous experience with MSF is valued.
Languages
- Fluent in English and French.

Terms of employment
- Full-time position 100% (40h/week)
- Fixed-term contract : 9 months

- Ideal start date: September 2026
- Gross annual salary (for 100%): from CHF 102'180.- to CHF 116'484.- (based on relevant equivalent experience and MSF's internal salary grid
- Paid leave: 25 days per year, prorated, plus any Swiss public holidays falling within the contract period.
- Pension plan: pension covered 75% by MSF, 25% by staff member.
- Relocation support available for eligible candidates.
