Your Responsibilities

You will immerse yourself in European research policies and programmes and collaborate closely with research institutions and communities. Your work may also include education and innovation topics. As a junior member of our team, you will contribute fully to day-to-day operations. Your tasks include collecting and analysing intelligence, organising and participating in events, organising visits and receiving delegations as well as writing articles and reports. In addition to practical on-the-job work experience (50%), you will have the opportunity to focus on a dedicated project in the research domain (50%), with a possibility to combine it with your thesis.

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated and eager student enrolled in or having completed a Bachelor or a Master programme in any discipline, interested in European integration and cooperation. Candidates have to be enrolled in or graduated from a Swiss higher education institution. If you are not currently enrolled, the graduation date cannot be before February 2026.

You should have affinity with research, innovation, and education. In particular, you should be interested in Swiss and European research policies and programmes. Since writing makes for a large part of your work, you should be fluent in English (at least C1) as well as in French and/or German, both in writing and speaking (at least B2). Familiarity with MS Office and ICT tools in general is necessary. We are particularly looking for an investigative mind and a dedicated worker who enjoys flexible teamwork.
